Yes. The Sylfirm X uses “colourblind” pulsed radiofrequency technology that targets vascular and pigmentation concerns without relying on skin chromophores, making it safe and effective across all Fitzpatrick skin types (I-VI). The controlled, non-insulated needle technology minimises the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), which is a common concern with energy-based treatments on darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick IV-VI). The device is also well-suited for sensitive skin and conditions like rosacea. For clients with Fitzpatrick type IV or higher, using a tyrosinase inhibitor and SPF for at least 2 weeks before treatment is recommended to ensure maximum safety.
Most clients require 4 to 6 sessions, depending on the treatment area and their goals. Sessions are spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart. Your clinical trainer will cover how to structure treatment courses for different indications during your training.
The Sylfirm X uses single-use tips that are individually sealed to prevent infection. Each tip resets automatically with every shot, ensuring consistent energy delivery across the treatment. Tips are available through the Laseraid online store.
Yes. The Sylfirm X pairs well with LED therapy (such as the OptiGlow LED), and complements laser platforms for clinics offering a full skin treatment menu. Your clinical trainer can help you develop combination treatment protocols.
