The MD300 analyses pigmentation (surface and sub-surface), redness and vascular congestion, pore size and distribution, skin texture and roughness, UV damage (including hidden damage not visible to the naked eye), acne-related bacterial activity (porphyrins), wrinkle depth across individual facial zones, and overall facial ageing. Each concern is scored and measured quantitatively.
The system benchmarks each client’s skin against a reference database of over 15 million images, matched by age, gender, and skin type. It scores each concern from 0 to 100 and categorises severity as mild, moderate, or severe, providing quantitative data on quantity, area, and percentage coverage.
Yes, and this is one of its most valuable features. You can compare the same imaging mode across different dates to show precise, measurable changes in pigmentation, redness, pore count, wrinkle depth, and texture. The system also generates printable and exportable comparison reports.
