The Helios 785 Pico delivers q switched and picosecond pulse durations across three wavelengths: 1064nm, 532nm, and 785nm. The 785nm wavelength specifically targets blue and green tattoo inks that nanosecond lasers struggle with.

Picosecond lasers deliver energy in ultra-short pulses (trillionths of a second) compared to nanosecond pulses from Q-Switched systems. This shatters pigment into finer particles, which the body clears more efficiently. The result is typically faster clearance with fewer sessions and less thermal damage to surrounding tissue.

The 785nm and 1064nm wavelengths are safe for darker skin types (Fitzpatrick IV-VI). The 532nm wavelength is best suited to lighter skin types. Your clinical trainer will cover safe treatment parameters for each wavelength during training.
